A. N. Ananth, CEO
As the co-founder and CEO of EventTracker, Ananth was one of the original architects of the EventTracker product, our enterprise log management solution. With an extensive background in product development and operations for telecom network management, he has consulted for many companies on their compliance strategy, audit policy and automated reporting processes. He is a leading expert in IT compliance with over 20 years experience in IT-control and operations and speaks frequently on these topics. He was involved in product development for various companies including Ciena, Westinghouse Wireless and Equatorial Communications. He holds a MSEE from the University of Texas and remains active in strategic product direction at EventTracker.
Jagat Shah, CTO
As the co-founder and CTO of EventTracker, Jagat conceived and authored the original implementation of “WhatChanged”, which is now the Change Management component of EventTracker. He is also an expert in the area of security event correlation and best practices for SIEM. Over a 25 year career in IT, he has experienced all aspects of the product life cycle from development to operations. Previous positions include Digital Equipment Corporation and Boeing where he led a team to define security models for Windows, Database and Unix in large and medium enterprises. At EventTracker, he provides technology direction to the sales process. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Boston University.
Jack Stose, Vice President of Sales
Jack Stose serves as VP of Sales at EventTracker and is responsible for leading and implementing global sales initiatives. He has over 20 years of management experience in the software industry with a strong track record of increasing revenues as well as developing, implementing and managing effective sales strategies and teams. Prior to joining EventTracker, Jack held vice president and senior sales management positions in high-growth technology companies including portal software developer Sequoia Software where he helped grow annual sales from $1 million to $19 million leading to a successful IPO in 2001. He also led significant revenue growth, channel development and enterprise sales teams for Citrix and eOriginal.
Cathy Hong, Director of Marketing
Cathy is responsible for product and marketing strategy, positioning, branding, press and analyst relations, marketing communications, lead generation, and advertising. She brings overÂ sixteen years of experience in market research, strategy planning and execution, venture capital and management consulting. Her venture experience includes investment roles at United Parcel Serviceâ€™s (UPS) corporate venture fund, private equity firm Alliance Technology Ventures, and as a consultant to Turner Broadcastingâ€™s venture arm. She also brings strong media experience as a consultant for Entertainment Media Ventures and First Sports International, and has developed and executed online marketing campaigns for Random House, Crown Publishing, Penguin Books and others. Â Cathy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management with a minor in International Business from the California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, and an MBA from The Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
