Software Installation and Implementation (Technical)

Key Objectives

  • Installation and proper functioning of EventTracker software basic configuration
  • Initial software deployment implementation, configuration and guidance


  • Customer engagement, installation management
  • Install Team Viewer and EventTracker software
  • Assist customer technical staff in deploying EventTracker Agent/Sensors
  • Follow-up for phase 1 installation open items
  • Daily customer follow-up via phone and email
  • Maintenance of “Sugar” Customer Relationship Management system – data accuracy/timeliness
  • Demographics, call/meeting notes, emails, issues and details for all customers
  • Learn the SIEM/Cyber Security industry, technology, competitors, sales drivers
  • Learn EventTracker software, SIEM Simplified and how to demonstrate


  • Technical acumen and demonstrable skills
    • Windows 2008/2012 Server+, Windows 7+, MS Office, Firewalls, Linux
    • Cyber security concepts, best practices
    • Security analytics, forensics
    • Log management Windows EVTX, syslog
    • PCI-DSS, HIPAA and government compliance frameworks
  • Business professional communications and language skills
  • Organization skills, follow-up, superior customer service attitude
  • 3+ years experience with help desk, installation and software deployment or similar
  • Burning desire to succeed and pursuit of career growth
  • Positive attitude and a superior work ethic
  • Curiosity and problem solving skills
